AOCS 1208-A3 MIR162 Powder was prepared from MIR162 maize provided by Syngenta Crop Protection, LLC. MIR162 contains the vip3Aa20 gene to confer resistance to lepidopteran pests and the pmi gene involved in mannose metabolism. AOCS 1208-A3 is available in 10 g of powder, packaged in 27-mL glass headspace vials.

This is the third batch of NP2222 (MIR162)/NP2391 maize CRM prepared by AOCS for Syngenta Crop Protection, LLC. The certified value is based on a sample purity of 100% (400 out of 400 seeds tested positive for MIR162 maize). With 95% confidence, the true value is ≥ 993 g/kg. The measurement uncertainty is truncated on the right side such that the value does not exceed 1000g/kg. The measurement uncertainty is the expanded uncertainty with a coverage factor of 2 and confidence level of 95%.
